OK, this is definitely reason enough to blog. It rained shaved ice today (ie snowed). So classes were cancelled. SWEET!!! So I got up early, intending to go to class, then I saw SNOW, and classes were cancelled so went for snowball fights, sledging (just sat on a plastic bag n slid down the hill) and built a giant snowball (meant it to be a snowman, but we just kept rolling). Aiyo, some ppl mmg ganas with snowball fights. Jadi mangsa, but I did get a few ppl so okla. It was fun anyway. Didn't realize that playing in the snow can be such a workout, my body will so ache tomorrow. After a few hours getting dirty in the snow, we went over to someone's place for tea, had lunch somewhere, and walked to Tesco (more like trekking through the dirty slush, or ice kacang without the kacang.... hehehe) to get Krispy Kremes. Then went to CU meeting. And now I'm here blogging bout it.
Well, exam ended a few weeks ago. Still waiting for the finalized results (fingers and toes crossed). Didn't really do anything much apart from some shopping here and there. Had dvd night at someone's place. It was a night of movie, pancakes, alcohol (cocktails), sparklers (that bunga api stick thing, small one la...), and flashing (as in with camera and torch light... what did ya think? hehehe....).
Oh, I signed up for Spanish evening class. Had my first class on Tuesday. The when I got back, decided to head to bed early, when my friend came over to write a story on my housemate's door (we spent a few days secretly leaving story on her whiteboard on her door, but she caught us yesterday.....), and then we went over to someone's place for dvd, which led us to walking someone back to the new campus. When we wer there which was prolly abt 3am (or so), we decided to watch Blackadder, while having tequila, very light vodka (something like Shandy) and cider, then we played truth or dare, ran outside daring one of us to speak spanish with someone (it was a fake fire alarm thing so there was a crowd waiting outside one of the residences, in case you were wondering who on earth would be up at that time), then ran around the hallway, stairs, played with the elevators, and then went for breakfast at McD about 6.30am, then balik around 7.30am, and met up again about 3pm for lunch. "A donde es mi tequila?" and "Quiero tequila, ahora!" were pretty much the phrases of the day. We weren't drunk by the way, just GILA. And two of them are going away for placement this weekend anyway till the end of term. Good thing we only do this once in a blue moon.
And last Saturday, we went to London. Went to Covent Garden. I wanted to get on the old double decker bus, so we jumped on the bus (while it was moving, slowly la, cos that was how ppl get on that old thing). So we got to somewhere in London and had luch at a nice pub called The Wellington, had fish and chips. And then we went to Camden Town, to browse the market there, and I found a pair of dreamcatcher-looking earrings with a feather attached to each. So I got it, even though I don't have pierced ears. I had to, been looking for similar earrings. And then we got back to St Albans and met up with the ppl from church.
A couple weeks ago I had night out with my housemates, just chillin, cos we rarely bump into each other due to our schedule. So it was good. Found out some interesting things about some of them.
So, um .... that's about it. Nothing much la. I just cancelled out the mostly boring part. I left pics above, mls to arrange.
